2nd Annual Middle East Conference

Middle East Conference

 

Presented in conjunction with the Dubai School of Government, the event drew in 150 participants from around the Middle East region, attracting Harvard alumni from as far as New York and London. The e vent featured many leading speakers in the region, including HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qassimi (UAE Minister for Economy and Planning), Dr. John Waterbury ( American University of Beirut President), Dr. Joseph Nye (Former Dean of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government), and Hassan Heikal (Co-Chairman and CEO of EFG-Hermes). Sponsors of the event included Istithmar, EFG-Hermes, Jordinvest , Dubai International Capital, Dubai Knowledge Village , sas, Boss, Axiom Telecom, and McKinsey & Company.

 

 

2006 Middle East Job Fair

Harvard University , Cambridge , MA

ME Job Fair

 

The event attracted nearly 200 students and alumni from leading universities throughout the Boston area to meet with leading Middle East employers including Alghanim Industries, Americana Group, Aramex, Citadel Capital, Dubai Executive Council, EFG Hermes, General Motors, Istithmar, and Microsoft Gulf. Sponsors of the event included Americana Group, Citadel Capital, Government of Dubai Executive Council, Microsoft, and Alghanim Industries.

 

3rd Annual Harvard Conference

Harvard University, Cambridge, MA

February 10 th, 2007

 

 

The event drew over 150 students, alumni, and professionals from around the Northeast to Harvard University to hear such leading speakers and academic experts as Dr. Mohamed El-Erian (President & CEO of Harvard Management Company), Dr. Mona Mourshed (Partner with McKinsey & Company’s Middle East Office), and Samir Hanna (CEO of Bank Audi). The event was sponsored by Istithmar, Bank Audi, Agility, and McKinsey & Company.
